Transitional Kindergarten

TK classes will use the Creative Curriculum for Preschool.  This curriculum focus on units of study geared towards students’ interest.  It is designed to be play based, hands on, and developmentally appropriate for students.

Beginning August 2023, Children must have their fifth birthday between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 (inclusive) are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten, which is part of the Universal Prekindergarten Program. This all-day program is voluntary but can put students on an early path to academic success. 

Transitional kindergarten space is limited. Once seats are filled at a particular school, students will need to select another school site.  They can be waitlisted for their preferred school as well.

*There will be a separate Round-Up for Transitional Kindergarten students.
